Changwon City and Changwon Industrial Promotion Agency announced on the 10th that they will dispatch a 'Indonesia Future Mobility and Advanced Machinery Technology Team' composed of 12 companies in the automotive and machinery fields from the 14th to the 19th. The current Indonesian market has shown a favorable economic growth with an average annual growth rate of 4.2% over the past 10 years, and it is expected that Indonesia's nominal GDP will reach $1.38 trillion this year, a 7.7% increase from the previous year. Indonesia's GDP ranking was 23rd in 2003, but it grew to 17th last year. It has experienced rapid growth as the largest economy among the 10 ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries. Therefore, Changwon City actively supports the entry into the Indonesian market to activate the export market using the advanced manufacturing technology of local companies. The main schedule of this Indonesian technology team includes strengthening global partnerships through visits to local relevant agencies (such as the Bukasi Market Chamber of Commerce and Tang Erang City Hall), tailored one-on-one export consultations for each company, and export strategy seminars. In particular, major institutions such as the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, the National Development Planning Agency, the Indonesian Automotive Association, and the Indonesian Shipbuilding Company will participate in the export strategy seminar to introduce Indonesian government policies and strategies to enhance global competitiveness, and present automotive and shipbuilding industry technology trends. A networking exchange meeting for expanding partnerships with local export companies and institutions will also be held. Lee Yoo-jung, head of the Changwon City Investment Attraction Team, said, "We will actively support the enhancement of global competitiveness by promptly responding to the Indonesian market, a country with the fourth-largest population in the world, the 15th largest territory, and diverse natural resources, to promote the innovative technological capabilities of Changwon City's export companies and increase the market share of our products." The Export Support Team Leader of Changwon Industrial Promotion Agency added, "We will make efforts to lay the groundwork for increasing exports by establishing global cooperation hubs by country and diversifying customized overseas expansion strategies for companies to expand exports for local small and medium-sized enterprises." Meanwhile, Changwon City is planning to support joint exhibition hall projects for overseas exhibitions targeting the Thai and Vietnamese markets in June and July, and is continuously promoting various export marketing support projects. 현재 인도네시아 시장은 최근 10년간 연평균 4.2%의 양호한 경제 성장을 보이고 있으며, 올해 인도네시아의 명목 GDP는 전년 대비 7.7% 증가한 1조 3800억 달러를 기록할 것으로 기대된다.
인도네시아 GDP 순위는 2003년 23위였으나, 지난해에는 17위까지 성장했다. 현재 동남아시아 10개국의 ‘아세안(Asean)’ 국가 중에서도 경제 규모 1위로 급성장했다. 이에 창원시에서는 관내 기업의 고도화된 제조 기술을 활용한 수출시장 활성화를 위해 인도네시아 진출을 적극적으로 지원하고 있다.
이번 인도네시아 기술단의 주요 일정은 △현지 유관기관(버카시 市 상공회의소, 탕에랑 시청 등) 방문 글로벌 파트너십 강화 △기업별 1:1 맞춤형 수출상담 △수출전략 세미나 등이다.
특히 이번 수출전략 세미나에는 인도네시아 산업부 및 국가개발계획청과 인도네시아 자동차 협회, 인도네시아 선박공사 등 주요 기관들이 참여해 인도네시아 정부 정책 및 글로벌 경쟁력 강화 전략을 소개하고, 자동차·조선산업 기술 트렌드에 대해 발표한다. 관내 수출기업과 현지 기관·기업들과 함께 파트너십 확대를 위한 네트워크 교류회도 진행할 예정이다
이유정 창원시 투자유치단장은 “세계 4위의 인구 대국, 세계 15위의 넓은 영토와 다양한 천연자원을 보유한 인도네시아 시장에 발 빠르게 대응해, 창원시 수출기업의 혁신적인 기술력을 알리고 우리 기업 제품의 시장점유를 높이는 방향으로 글로벌 경쟁력 강화 지원에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
창원산업진흥원 수출지원팀장은 “관내 중소기업들의 수출확대를 위해 국가별 글로벌 협력거점 마련과 기술단과 같은 기업별 맞춤형 해외진출전략 다양화를 통해 수출증대 밑거름이 되도록 노력하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
한편 창원시는 오는 6월과 7월에 태국 및 베트남 시장을 타깃으로 해외 전시회 공동관 지원사업을 계획하고 있으며, 다양한 수출마케팅 지원사업을 상시 추진하고 있다.
