Case Diameter is the most obvious and noticeable element of proportion.

케이스의 지름은 비율에 있어서 제일 중요한 요소임.

Men’s watches usually range from 38mm to 46mm.

남자시계는 보통 38mm~46mm까지 나옴.

Anything above 46mm starts to become too large, and is usually reserved for rakish or flashy outfits.

어쨋거나 46mm넘어가면 너무 큼. 웃겨보임.

Anything below 38mm leans towards jewelry and eases into women’s size watches.

어쨋거나 38mm보다 작으면 장신구같고 여자사이즈 시계같아 보임.

So how do you know what size works for you?

그래서 어떻게 니사이즈를 찾냐고?

Measure your wrist.

니 팔목을 재봐.

You can use a dollar bill as a hack to measure.

너는 1달러짜리 지폐로 잴 수 있다.

Modern US Paper Currencies are 6 inches in length. 

미국 지폐는 가로로 15cm야.

Wrap it around your wrist to find the circumference of your wrist.

니 팔목에 둘러서 한번 알아봐.

If your wrist is 6 to 7 inches you will be a small to medium wrist size.

니 팔목이 15cm에서 17.5cm라면 너는 작은 편에서 중간정도인 팔목둘레를 가지고 있다.

(아마 대부분의 한국인이 이 범주겠죠. 17.5cm도 시포에서 잘 못본것 같네요.)

The small to medium diameter cases are 38mm, 40mm, and 42mm.

이정도 사이즈면 38~42까지가 적절하다.

(15면 38, 16~17이면 40, 17~17.5면 42정도로 볼 수 있지 않을까요?)

If your wrist is 7.5 to 8 inches in circumference, that will be more proportional with large cases which are 44-46mm.

니 손목이 17.5cm~20cm까지 엄청 굵으면 44mm이상을 차봐.

저건 보편적인 시계에 대한 사이즈 조언이고, 베젤이 얇은 드레스워치라면 저조언보다 더 작은 사이즈를,

베젤이 두꺼운 다이버워치라면 저 조언보다 약간 더 큰사이즈로 가도 무방하다고 보입니다.

드레스워치는 작고 얇을수록 멋있는 것 같아요.

시계 두께, 시계 줄 넓이, 시계 줄 재질, 그리고 시계의 나머지 구성요소도 비율에 중요한 역할을 한다고 하는데
